SF Beer Week

Last night I had the pleasure of working the SF Beer Week Opening Night for Two Rivers Cider. Tons of people showed up and it was a blast.

Great to see so many local microbreweries in one place. Its also reassuring to know that the Bay Area is the epicenter for the micro movement. Hat tip to Rubicon, Anchor Brewing, Trumer Pils, Marin Brew Co and Iron Springs - some of my local favorites.

My only regret was not having more time to test the waters from more breweries. No worries, I’ll be back with a vengeance next year. There are more events happening for the following week, so if you are looking for good times hit the link above to find out more.

Will post some actual pictures from the event, when I find some.

Thanks to Julie and Joey for the help.

Kristian Fashion Sensibility

Two weeks ago, as I was walking to the bus stop, I was approached by the San Francisco Chronicle photographer, Mike Kepka. He writes the style column for the Sunday edition of the newspaper.

Struck by my debonair attitude, Kepka took a few shots of me and asked my opinion on style.

“We are surrounded by a sea of ill-fitting suits” was the best quote that I could come up with at the time. But its true. Out here in San Francisco its the Wild West.
